Laughlin

Yesterday I got back from Laughlin, Nevada. I had a great time jet skiing, wakeboarding (I'm horrible but it's fun trying), and playing some hold 'em with many of my relatives, most of which I met for the first time. We spent time with some of my half cousins who are full-blooded Filipinos. Although the trip was filled with nonstop fun, I lost focus. I fell. I fell away from God for three entire days. It was only when I got back and went to beach night tonight where I finally realized this.
After busting out some accountability with Matt and hearing Bobby's amazing sermon, I'm back on track for the best Summer ever! I remembered this passage Matt and I memorized before we left on our retreats: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness," 1 John 1:9. Please pray for me to live my life only for God.

New DECK

There are no words to explain how happy I am for school to be over in a few days. Then again those few days are jam-packed full of studying and final exams.
Today after school I played basketball with some buddies of mine. THEN I got a new deck finally after two weeks of no skating. Matt, Boomer, and I had a skate sesh in my neighborhood. He's insane!!! We did it in the Lord's name of course. Afterwards Boomer's parents were kind enough to treat us to a place called Sonny's Pizza Kitchen. It was great. Now Matt and I are chilling at my house and we just posted on Proverb of the Day. My life is so amazing right now!! Blessed be the name of the LORD!

First Post

FIRST POST EVER!
Today was actually a really productive day. I woke up to a pre-calculus test in second period, but then a nap in forth. The only thing that kept me going was knowing that we had TBBS (Tuesday Basketball Bible Study) at lunch with my AMAZING Christian friends. After sixth I drove home to pick up some spray paint then went to Matt's house. We made SFC (Skating For Christ) t-shirts with our own stencils. If you guys see me tomorrow Matt and I be wearing them; it's pretty much my favorite shirt now. After that I rushed on over to Shutterbug to develop some negatives I'm ALREADY behind on for Photography class, then went to A Snail's Pace for my Cross Country coach's birthday present. Coach Walsh and Matt have the same birthday: June 6th!
Last weekend I made commitments to pray at least 10 times a day. Although I've been doing good so far, please call me and keep me accountable for that! Present-day I think I have been stronger in Christ than ever before because of my dedicated friends and youth groups! I hope I remember to post again on this blog soon, but for now I'm off to bed. Good-bye for now!
